THE OPPORTUNITY


The Manager, Social & Culture is responsible for owning and leading social media and cultural activations that support the Chipotle cultural calendar and elevate Collab's across social channels to win customer love and drive buzz. This person will proactively identify and bring forth big, breakthrough ideas routed in timely cultural insights – both planned and reactive – that fuel the fandom and drive culture. They will strategize and execute activations, working diligently with cross functional teams to bring activations to life. They'll keep the brand relevant through brand fan engagement, building relationships with super fans and like-minded brand/influencer partners in a way that fuels word-of-mouth and deepens brand love. This person is also responsible for supporting Chipotle’s sports, music and gaming partnerships through the social lens. They will be a student of culture, constantly identifying future trends with a bias for action to activate against ideas quickly.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


  • Lead social activations to support cultural calendar & brand fan moments (such as brand collabs, reactive opportunities, Chipotle Goods drops, etc.) in an unexpected way that drives brand buzz.
  • Manage executions cross-functionally, including any needs from Legal, CRM, Creative, Media, Product, and IT.
  • Lead social media agency’s Brand Fan Taskforce to proactively identify and bring forth breakthrough ideas and cultural activations beyond the marketing calendar – both planned and reactive – that fuel the fandom and drive culture.
  • Partner closely with the Brand Partnerships & Experiential team to support our national sports, music and gaming partnerships on social in an unexpected way that drives brand buzz  Partner closely with Social Media Manager to integrate activations into owned social media content calendar.
  • Work closely with social media agencies, platform reps, and Consumer Insights team to develop innovative, insight-driven activations.
  • Be a student of culture, constantly identifying future trends with a bias for action to activate against ideas quickly.
  • Analyze program and content results, applying key learnings to optimize future projects.  Partner closely with media team to maximize scale of activations, bringing programs through the line.
  • Build relationships with super fans, likeminded partners, and influencers.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE


  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.
  • Minimum 5- years’ experience working in social media, brand strategy, content, publishing, or advertising.
  • Have a proven track record of thinking differently and challenging the status quo. Demonstrate big thinking while showing the ability to execute with excellence.
  • Partner with leading partners and internal teams to develop breakthrough creative concepts.
  • Have a deep passion for digital marketing, blending creative and analytics to get the right message to customers.
  • Serve as a relationship builder with a reputation for working well with others and inspiring teams to work quickly. Be an expert communicator, both internally and with customers
  • Be a self-starter and driver to make things happen and constantly evaluate results to take work to the next level.
  • Have deep experience presenting ideas and results to executive team.
  • Be a student of life with unbridled curiosity.
  • Work within a determined budget and demonstrate the ability to think lean and scrappy.

PAY TRANSPARENCY


A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $98,000 - $133,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
