About The Role:

We are seeking a Manager of Instructional Design to lead our instructional design team and oversee the development of cutting-edge educational content. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of instructional methodologies and the ability to drive projects that meet the diverse learning needs of our organization. This role will be a hybrid of people leading and individual contribution, meaning you will be asked to create learning content in addition to leading a team. The role reports to the National Director, Education.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of instructional designers in the planning, design, and delivery of high-quality instructional materials.
  • Be a player/coach, participating directly in the creation of new training articles while leading a team of designers.
  • Collaborate with various department heads and stakeholders to assess training needs and develop strategic learning objectives.
  • Oversee the instructional design process from needs analysis to implementation and evaluation.
  • Ensure that training materials are effective, engaging, and aligned with the latest educational trends and company goals.
  • Manage the instructional design team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure professional growth and high performance.
  • Stay current with the latest in learning technologies and instructional design methodologies, incorporating best practices into training initiatives.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • +2 years of experience in instructional design.
  • +5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models, and e-learning standards.
  • Proficient with instructional technology tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
