Delta Marketing’s Integrated Operations team is looking for a Manager, Creative Operations to lead a team of project managers, responsible for tracking projects from input to delivery – maintaining alignment with stakeholders on creative direction, deliverables and deadlines.  

The ideal candidate will have extensive Workfront knowledge, experience refining workflow processes and expertise utilizing data to drive resourcing decisions. They can balance big-picture thinking and attention to detail and have strong people skills and the ability to lead through influence while keeping chaos at bay. This role will be a pivotal addition to our Creative team, working closely with clients and the entire Marketing and Employee Communications team.     



 Key responsibilities:  

  • Lead, coach and motivate team members to a high level of performance and accountability in Delta’s high volume, fast-paced environment.  
  • Build strong relationships across areas of marketing, employee and corporate communications, and the organization to ensure successful alignment of roadmaps and collaboration on deliverables and timelines.   
  • Navigate issues with a solutions-oriented mindset, escalating concerns and making informed recommendations to stakeholders and leadership as needed    
  • Act as one of the primary administrators of Workfront, Delta’s project management/workflow tool, including managing creative requests/briefs, overseeing the assignment and tracking of projects from input to delivery, and managing reports and dashboards.  
  • Develop and communicate status updates highlighting potential issues including at-risk deadlines, scheduling, resources, costs, etc.  
  • Intaking Creative Request Forms (CRFs) within project management tool, Workfront for 15-20 owned projects 
  • Maintaining task lists, due dates and project statuses within Workfront for approximately 20-40 projects at once 
  • Assisting in making project assignments amongst creative team  
  • Co-lead a weekly resource-management call between Operations and Creative leads in partnership 

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)

  • 5-8+ years of creative project management experience at an agency or in-house team. Additional non-creative project management experience a plus. 
  • Experience with project/client management in a modern software environment via multiple scheduling systems, including Workfront.  
  • People-management experience preferred 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other design software is a plus. 
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and PC skills required 
  • PMP Certification preferred  
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional creative projects from concept to completion with multiple clients across different platforms and media formats.   
  • Strong project management experience and the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment.   
  • A structured, organized, reliable and highly detail-oriented person with a quality and results-oriented approach  
  • Collaborative team player who excels at building relationships 
  • Managing and navigating complex organizational structures and work well with executives at all levels  
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
