Manager - Corporate Development | Remote


We're partnered with a private equity-backed fixed-based operating platform.

This is a newly created role due to growth. Fully remote with opportunity for equity.


The Manager of Corporate Development will play a critical role in the development and execution of corporate strategy projects and different strategic transactions, including acquisitions, equity investments, joint-ventures, and growth capital expenditure projects. This role requires a highly motivated professional, who will make a significant impact and is comfortable working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. This is a highly visible role and will be a key asset in the future growth of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Structure, analyze and present business cases for capital projects and potential acquisitions
  • Execute day-to-day components of M&A transactions, including managing internal and third-party due diligence streams, valuation model development, synergy identification/evaluation and board/sponsor investment committee communication materials (e.g. investment memoranda and presentations)
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional deal teams and third-party advisors
  • Review due diligence material to ensure assumptions in operating model are accurate and identify potential deal issues
  • Coordinate responses to questions from sponsors and lenders about acquisitions and development projects
  • Assist in the coordination and development of responses for Request for Proposals for Fixed Base Operators from requesting airports
  • Work with cross-functional teams to successfully complete the integration of bolt-on acquisitions
  • Assist the CFO in evaluating data and metrics of the company to identify opportunities to increase profitability and /or reduce costs


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or economics
  • Experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic planning ideally within aerospace, aviation, and/or transportation sectors
  • Valuation and deal modeling experience
