Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance team in the upkeep and repair of facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other essential systems.
• Develop and implement a proactive maintenance program to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of the facility.
• Oversee the scheduling and completion of routine inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs.
• Collaborate with department heads to prioritize and address maintenance needs across the facility.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors to support maintenance activities.
• Uphold and promote a culture of safety, inclusivity, and respect within the maintenance team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, facilities management) preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices
• Ability to develop and implement maintenance programs that prioritize safety and inclusivity.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
