The Community You Will Join

The Airbnb Communications team delivers campaigns that keep Airbnb front of mind, helping to stimulate word-of-mouth and supporting direct traffic to the site. We’re seeking an organized, passionate and versatile team contributor to support the international Icons roadmap and support a Global Communications team that is developing year-round campaigns to insert Airbnb into a wide range of pop culture conversations.

The Difference You Will Make

This role will support the international division for 'Airbnb Icons' and Regional Consumer Communications campaigns that keep Airbnb front of mind, stimulate word-of-mouth and drive positive sentiment for the brand. This role will be a member of the Global Entertainment & Consumer Communications team, specifically supporting the international team.

A Typical Day

  • Supports the international division for 'Icons', working closely with international teams in EMEA, APAC, LATAM and China to help execute the Icons roadmap.
  • Supports international operations for the Global Consumer & Entertainment team in North America and regional teams for all international consumer campaigns across Icons, Celebrity Hosting and Local Consumer Campaigns.
  • Collaborates closely with Channel Communications including social, influencer and creative teams to execute the roadmap.
  • Ability to oversee creative ideation and execution for individual Icons and Consumer Communications campaigns.
  • Helps develop and evolve internationally-based 'Icon' programs with regional consumer communication teams.
  • Develops and manages individual project budget trackers.
  • Proactively develop solutions, find efficiencies and improve processes across the international team.
  • Manages key external agency partners and third party brands, including drafting scopes of works, reviewing creative proposals, term sheets and executing contracts.
  • Work effectively within a high-performing international team with evolving priorities and rapidly changing timelines.
  • Ability to act as Project Manager for individual Icons and/or Consumer Communications Campaigns.

Your Expertise

  • 8+ years professional experience in Consumer Communications and Experiential Marketing and/or Brand Partnerships
  • Experience working with international teams, and ability to travel internationally at short notice
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate key meetings in international time zones
  • A passion for pop culture, travel and trends
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient at Google Workplace, Keynote and Excel
  • Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders on cross-functional projects
  • Proactive self-starter with a proven track record of taking initiative
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, engaged, and solution-oriented

Your Location:

Due to the global nature of the role, candidates located in the US East Coast will be able to accommodate key meetings in international time zones better. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care Of You

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
