REPORTS TO TITLE: Director, eCommerce Sales

HOURS: FT Position


The Key Account Manager at Lenox will report to our Director, eCommerce Sales and play an integral role in driving world class account management initiatives by working closely with retailer merchants in collaboration with Lenox corporate teams (demand planning, product development, sourcing, customer service and finance) to meet sales & profit, distribution, and digital goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strive for “Best in Class” account management, driving growth in Revenue and Net Margin to help us achieve and exceed our goals. Develop and execute a strategic plan to win for your business, with a clear path to goal achievement.

Capacity to be a successful sales leader, acting as the “business manager” of your business, including cross-functional team leadership, financial and analytical savvy and demonstrated thought leadership on how to achieve breakthrough goals at your accounts.

Help Director to manage customer profitability, working closely with internal teams to develop proposals for new items, and effectively manage investments to drive your business.

Critical decision making, based on financial analysis of multiple scenarios to drive profitable growth, often diving into the details and understanding what comprises & drives contribution margin $ and %.

Own the forecasting of your accounts to ensure we hit our monthly budgets/targets.

Help to drive the overall account strategy and will own the outcome for customer meetings, leveraging internal support areas.

Own and support managing key strategic business initiatives (including direct import, dropship, international expansion) for key categories partnering with internal and external business partners.

Execution focused; mindful of key milestones and a demonstrated ability to create and adhere to a schedule to ensure success.

Lead the reporting for POS, trends, and other factors impacting the business.

Gathering and communicating competitive factors/insights impacting the business (i.e. new competitive items, competitive promotions, etc.)


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • of how to drive sales at both large and regional retailers. Highly preferred sales experience working in the retail ecomm space (Amazon, Wayfair, other pure play accounts)
  • sales or merchant leader with strategic vision, execution focused, track record of overcoming obstacles, and team player not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the details
  • business acumen and must be financially savvy, complimented by effective oral and written communication.
  • analytical and planning skills to gather and analyze large sets of data both internally and externally, coupled with strong negotiation skills working with both national and regional retailers.
  • interpersonal skills to be able to build and maintain effective relationships both customer facing and cross-functionally with internal partners.
  • organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and get things done in a fast and ever-changing environment.
  • Degree
  • years of national and/or regional account sales management or equivalent experience within buying and/or merchandising at retail.
  • Microsoft office skills (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
