JUNIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / SALES ASSISTANT - Contemporary women's apparel brand DREW is seeking a Junior account executive / Sales Assistant to join our team in our NYC office . Our account base consists of both major and better specialty stores throughout the country. The office and role requires the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
This is both a sales support and selling position . Supporting the showroom includes customer service such as updating inventory , setting up weekly posts on social media , helping to style photo shoots , create look books and line lists , assisting others with zoom appointments and showroom appointments . As a sales assistant you will be directly involved with our major accounts. You will play a considerable role in the development process. This includes being present during buyer meetings and helping to source fabrics and prints . Additionally you will be monitoring the timelines associated with receiving orders and then having them shipped in a timely manner. Your efforts will help to maintain existing relationships and you will be reaching out to prospective clients as well .
REQUIREMENTS: • Beneficial to have a minimum of 1 to 3 years in a showroom • Have extensive knowledge of the advanced contemporary market and love fashion • Must be willing to travel for buyer meetings • Must think creatively • The possibilities for growth are limitless.
Knowledge of Micro Office/ Outlook , Word, and Excel are required.
