Jr. Graphic Designer (Remote)

Compensation Range: $25 - 28 per hour

We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our client's team and contribute to their ongoing success!

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will need to exhibit a high level of creativity and effectively communicate your ideas to both internal and external clients. Flexibility to client demands, the ability to work well under pressure, and strong multi-tasking skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communication problems.
• Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design.
• Work on multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review team projects for accuracy.
• Work independently to anticipate client needs and make recommendations for solutions.
• Manage projects with internal partners and external vendors to ensure quality execution.
• Recommend practices designed to streamline, improve efficiencies, and reduce costs.
• Promote corporate brand standards within the company, external vendors, and partners.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Entry Level
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field required.
• 0-2 years of experience in graphic design.
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic, and film.
• Basic ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
• Experience with industry-standard graphic design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of and experience with designing for Alfresco, Drupal, AWS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid understanding of the principles of user experience design and 508 compliance.
• Experience communicating design choices to non-designers and collaborating with marketing and communications professionals.
