Java Backend Developer

Overview

The Java Backend Developer plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable backend applications for our products. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless functioning of our software and providing optimal user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java technologies
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Implement and maintain data storage solutions
• Conduct code reviews and perform troubleshooting and debugging of applications
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Implement security and data protection
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the applications
• Regularly communicate project progress and issues to team members
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Job DescriptionMid-Senior backend/fullstack dev experience
• Experience as a team/squad lead
• Spring Boot (Data-JPA, Web)
• Java 8+ Streams
• Unit and Integration testing (JUnit, mockito, Spring Boot testing)
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Plus (highly desired):
• Angular 7 or higher (not Angular JS)
• Camunda (or other BPMN platforms)
• Kafka
• Docker
