When you’ll work…
We are currently hiring an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our team predominantly working 1 st shift hours, however, projects may require evening and weekend work to minimize business disruption.
What you’ll do…
Maintain a robust, modern IT infrastructure to ensure 24/7 production capability with a hybrid office workforce utilizing primarily Microsoft products, with an emphasis on Microsoft 365.
Design, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot all network infrastructure components such as LANs, WANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi networks, servers, routers/firewalls, switches, and battery backups.
Lead administration of Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP, DNS (internal and external), Microsoft 365, Azure AD and Intune setup and configuration.
Administrate backup environment, including off-site retention and disaster recovery capabilities using Azure including documenting disaster recovery procedures.
Why you’ll be successful…
Leveraging technical proficiency from client endpoints, to wired, wireless, or VPN-based network connectivity, to on-premises or Azure server infrastructure.
Utilizing knowledge from your 5+ Experience as a network/server administrator/engineer position.
Demonstrating a focus on security and systems uptime across all work is critical.
Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new mechanical technologies as well as staying informed of new and emerging threats to evaluate potential impact to business operations and develop remediation steps if required.
Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.
