IT Intern

Job Description

We are seeking an IT Service Technician Intern to join our IT for the summer! The IT Service Technician Intern will assist with updating computers, installing software, and helping with projects. The intern will perform activities related to Bank computers, printers, scanners, phones and other technology peripherals. They will provide first level Help Desk support to end-users and escalates higher level tickets to the bank's Managed Service Provider.

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Troubleshooting technical problems
• Deploys and sets up workstations and other banking technology equipment.
• Plans, coordinates and implements software and hardware changes on workstations.
• Performs onsite deployment of new bank technology equipment including workstations and phones.
• Maintains inventory information for technology equipment within the Bank's regions.
  
  

Required Experience

• Must be an active college student in Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing
• Major in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Security is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Possess strong written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational/time management skills.
• Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation.
• Project a businesslike professionalism
  
  

Target hourly rate: $20
