Investor Relations Analyst

Bessemer Trust is seeking a talented Investor Relations Analyst to join its Alternative Investments group within the Alternative Investor Relations team. The associate will work closely with colleagues to administratively support all facets of our Alternative Investments fund of funds business. This role includes significant interaction with a wide variety of internal teams including Client Advisors, Investment Research, Finance, Tax, Marketing, Legal and Compliance,amongothers,tocontributetowardsmaintainingandimprovingtheday-to- day operations of our Alternative Investments business.

Bessemer Trusts Alternative Investments groupcomprises28dedicatedteammembersacross5teams:HedgeFunds, Private Equity, Real Assets, Advisory and IR. Alternative Investments manages 17 active funds with approximately $7 billion under management, encompassing over 150 underlying investment funds and over 5,500 client investments.

Responsibilities

  • FunctionaspointofcontactforClientAdvisorsandinvestorsfor Alternative Investments fund-related inquiries
  • Fulfillrequestsandcompletedocumentationrelatedto Alternative Investments fundsmarketing, fundraising, subscriptions, capital calls, transfers, distributions, and fund redemptions – both investment manager and investor related
  • Support function of coordinating and distributing client communications pertainingto Alternative Investments summaries,fundperformanceandmarketing materials, as well as other general mailings
  • Coordinate with underlying investment managers and internal Tax and Finance teamstofacilitateandtrackthedistributionofinformationtoinvestors,suchas K-1s and financial statements
  • Fulfillrequestsandcompletedocumentationrelatedtoinvestmentsoffered through our External Manager Solutions program
  • Monitorandmaintainclientrecordsinaccordancewithcompliancepoliciesand procedures
  • Assistwithongoingworkandanyspecialprojectsrelatedto Alternative Investments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor'sdegree required
  • 2+yearsofrelevant experience
  • Generalknowledgeandcomfortlevelwithfinancialconceptsandfinancial markets, previous experience with Alternative Investments a plus
  • Abilitytoworkindependentlyandasacollaborativeteam member
  • Positiveattitudeandwillingnesstotakeaproactive,problem-solvingapproachto work
  • Successfulcandidateshouldbeabletomulti-taskandprioritize,withkeen attention to detail
  • Effectivecommunicatorwithexcellentwrittenandoralcommunication skills
  • Excellent interpersonalskillsandabilitytobuildworkingrelationshipswith professionals at all levels of the organization
  • AdvancedproficiencyinMicrosoftOffice(Word,PowerPointandan emphasis on Excel)

The base salary range for this position is $80K - $105K. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive-based bonus based on individual and company performance.

Eligible employees may participate in a 401 (K) program with a company profit sharing contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability covering and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
