Job Description: Investment Intern, Ash



Position Overview:



As the Investment Intern for Ash (a holding company with assets in real estate, hospitality and interior design), you will work closely with the company's CEO, CFO, and Head of Investment, along with other senior management team members to ensure efficient operations and strategic execution. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will serve as a key support to the CEO and CFO, providing administrative support to ensure the company's on-going needs are met and growth strategy are met. Additionally, you will oversee various operational and administrative functions within the organization specifically related to travel and coordination for the CEO and CFO. The CEO and CFO will rely on you as a key interface with other team members and will require your organization, support, attendance and follow-up across a variety of functions. You will be responsible for advancing the objectives of the CEO and CFO and ensuring that myriad tasks are properly catalogued, categorized, prioritized and completed on a short- and long-term basis. You will be required to hold the CEO and CFO accountable to set timelines and objectives to ensure the advancement of the business.



Key Responsibilities:


Administrative and Task Management: Assisting with scheduling meetings, conference calls, and appointments for the investment team. This could involve coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing calendars, and ensuring all parties are informed of meeting details. Maintaining meeting notes and follow ups, arranging travel accommodations, processing expense reports, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.


Project Management: Oversee and coordinate key projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Monitor project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation, and provide regular updates to the CEO, CFO and stakeholders.


Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and other important related entities. Support the CEO and CFO in certain meetings, conferences, and other networking events as required, including participating on their behalf as required. Help in in investor relations on behalf of the company.


Communications and Reporting: Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and communications materials for both internal and external audiences. Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information to facilitate effective decision-making and collaboration.


Team Communication and Coordination: Ensure all team members and stakeholders are organized, abreast of needed information in order to keep investment team organized, focused and growing.


Deal Participation: Work with the CEO, CFO, Head of Investment and Director of Investment to identify and advance

relevant real estate opportunities, including site identification, outreach, investor recruitment and research.


Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Development, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in a previous internship or entry-level role, ideally within the real estate or hospitality industry, preferably in a development or investment capacity.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
