Job Overview:
The Investigator will collaborate with our Intake Department and Attorneys to gather crucial information and documentation for new personal injury cases including but not limited to taking witness statements, accident scene/injury photos, and performing client interviews. The Legal Investigator will regularly travel within the St. Louis area to meet with clients and conduct in-home visits, talk with neighbors and witnesses, gather leads, and pursue a list of cases that need further information – pictures, statements, etc., as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
- (3) or more years of investigative work or similar experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement is very useful, but not required
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Motor vehicle records may be checked as part of the hiring process or at any time during employment. Candidates with poor driving history will not be considered.
- MUST carry sufficient motor vehicle insurance

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity
- Workload based on availability of cases in geographic area
- Collaborate with the Intake Department and Attorneys
- Safeguard client privacy and confidentiality
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and beyond normal working hours when necessary
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, varying web browsers, instant messaging, and emails
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with technology
- Active listening skills
- Excel at time management and prioritization of all tasks at hand
