Key Responsibilities:

Manage inventory levels for consumable and non-consumable goods onboard, including food and beverage supplies, cleaning and sanitation products, guest amenities, retail merchandise, and operational equipment.

Develop and implement inventory control policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate tracking, monitoring, and replenishment of inventory items across multiple departments and storage locations.

Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock levels, identify discrepancies or variances, and reconcile inventory records with physical counts.

Coordinate with onboard departments to forecast demand, plan procurement, and establish par levels and reorder points for inventory items based on consumption patterns, seasonality, and guest demographics.

Liaise with external suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to negotiate contracts, place orders, and coordinate deliveries of inventory items, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement and replenishment.

Analyze inventory data, usage trends, and consumption patterns to optimize inventory levels, reduce waste and shrinkage, and minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

Monitor inventory turnover rates, aging inventory, and obsolete stock, and implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and maximize inventory turnover and liquidity.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards for inventory management, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in the hospitality, retail, or maritime industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to improve inventory management processes.

Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and inventory control.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of inventory control principles, inventory valuation methods, and inventory management best practices.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for inventory management, including safety regulations, sanitation standards, and environmental guidelines.
