Co-op, Product Development (NARS)

Job Summary

The key role of the Co-op is to support the NARS Product Development team. The ideal candidate should have an interest in make-up and skincare as well as strong motivation to be involved with and learn the functions of the Product Development department.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the Product Development team in day-to-day requests
• Conduct competitive analyses, including new launches, advertising, formulas and shop for competitive products as needed; present competitive findings to teams
• Schedule and participate to vendor meetings as well as organizing vendors’ submissions
• Process orders to maintain adequate levels of department product inventory
• Assist in reviewing pre-production and pre-shipment samples
  
  

Qualifications & Competencies

• Love cosmetics
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and administrative skills
• Sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities
• Strong organizational skills
• Prior experience in marketing or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
