Position Overview: Crossett Inc. is seeking an experienced and innovative IT Manager to oversee all aspects of our information technology infrastructure and operations. The IT Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the company's business objectives, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems, and providing technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement in our IT capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that support the company's overall business objectives and growth plans.
2. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and expansion of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
3. Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems through the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
5. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring the timely delivery of services and solutions that meet the company's needs.
6. Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
7. Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, evaluating their potential impact on the company and recommending adoption where appropriate.
8. User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees, ensuring that IT issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
9. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain plans and protocols for disaster recovery and business continuity to minimize disruptions to operations in the event of system failures or emergencies.
10. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures, and provide regular reports to senior management on IT performance and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management roles, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Proven track record of leading successful IT projects and initiatives from conception to implementation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex and fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with software such as TMW Suite, TMW Fuel Dispatch, TMT, Isaac, Netradyne, Great Plains or ADP is a plus.
