Industrial / Consumer Private Equity Associate

On behalf of a $1-2B buyout fund in LA, Voy is searching for an Associate private equity investor to evaluate and take ownership of the deal as the firm continues to grow it's portfolio of businesses in Industrials, Consumer and Tech-Enabled firms. The firm manages over $1b in AUM and will be going into market with their 3rd fund raise later this year is an exciting and momentous time for them as my client has continued to realize attractive investment returns.

Your Responsibilities:

• Evaluate potential investments by conducting thorough market research and financial analysis.
• Construct comprehensive financial models, valuation analyses, and investment presentations.
• Engage in due diligence processes, reviewing target company financials and identifying key growth drivers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to structure and negotiate deals effectively.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
• Present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• 2+ years of overall and relevant experience
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking or M&A required
• Must have deal experience within the Industrials, Consumer or tech-enabled business market
• Demonstrate proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Be able to perform a recurring revenue build in a software case study model
• Exhibit excellent communication skills for clear collaboration and impactful presentations.
