Job Summary

The In-Market Player Development Executive, acts as the acquisition marketing arm for new VIP/VVIP customers in key digital and brick and mortar markets. The In-Market Player Development Executive is results driven, with skills in building and leveraging a powerful internal and external network. The In-Market Player Development Executive establishes connections with customers to drive business to casino properties and digital assets, ultimately transitioning these relationships to the Account Development teams. The In-Market Player Development Executive will be well informed about the marketplace, our industry and our competition, and be confident in your ability to meet goals set forth by the management team. To be best positioned to succeed, the In-Market Player Development Executive is self-motivated, entrepreneurial, with a keen sense of personal ambition, excellent communications skills, and the ability to engage others to commit to action by personalizing interactions to drive performance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for targeting, developing, and assessing new business relationships.
  • Effectively delivers required sales targets.
  • Maintains relationships with VIP/VVIP guests through personal contact by phone and in person with the ultimate goal of increasing new business.
  • Creative thought in developing a wide customer base.
  • Works to utilize transportation resources, including 30-seat jet, corporate jet, direct mail to actively recruit VIP/VIP players.
  • Assists with special events.
  • Fully complies with all applicable rules, regulations, laws and policies, and conducts themselves with highest levels of integrity and honesty.
  • Supports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
  • Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.
  • Keeps track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives.
  • Stays up to date with the latest developments in the profession.
  • Develops skills to handle increasingly complex matters.
  • Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
  • Plans and creates events and community opportunities to drive awareness and greet potential customers.
  • Coordinates gaming marketing activities with operating departments.
  • Designs décor and experiences of off-site events in collaboration with internal stakeholders including PR, Sponsorships and Partnerships, and Community Relations.
  • Develops personal relationships and manages staff to also develop personal relationships with premium players in tables and slots, in all domestic markets with sister properties within the brand.
  • Works closely with hotel yield team to ensure proper VIP segments are yielded correctly to promote hote visitation.
  • Will act as a user of Sales Marketing and Relationship Tool (SMART) and promotes special events on and off property through marketing network and telemarketing.
  • Fully complies with all applicable rules regulations, laws and policies and conducts business with the highest levels of integrity and honesty.
  • Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of sales experience required (experience in luxury brands preferred).
  • College degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred but not required.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Must have proven, excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Avid member and in good standing of the local community.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with MS office, customer Point-of-Service, and sales/marketing customer relationship management systems.
  • Must possess financial abilities and utilizes cost control techniques.
  • Must have a systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Must have ability to manage multiple objectives and tasks simultaneously and be able to continually assess and re-set priorities.
  • Ability to effectively self-manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule, with adherence to attendance guidelines.
  • Ability to work in smoke filled environment and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
