We have an immediate opportunity for an organized undergraduate student to join our Human Resources team as an Intern. The Intern will have an opportunity to accelerate their personal and professional growth through a professional learning environment.

Under the direction of our HR Operations Manager, our HR Intern will learn and become responsible for supporting the efforts of our human resources department. This is an essential role supporting day-to-day HR functions where you will add value and contribute to key Human Resources projects.

This position is based in our Sunnyvale, CA office (onsite) and we anticipate this position will work 20 hours per week. This is a hybrid position which will require at least 1 day per week working in the Sunnyvale office.

What You'll Do (key Responsibilities)

  • Support the team in conducting a timelyonboarding process ina new hire’s life-cycle
  • Update and maintainthe HRIS system by inputting new employee information and employment details to ensure data consistency
  • Gather and prepare semi-monthly North America payroll and job-related changes for the Payroll team
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team including maintaining employee files and e-filing new employee documentation.
  • Support HR team in various HR projects and activities during an employee’s life-cycle, such as developing and enhancing our HR SharePoint intranet site
  • Ensure compliance with employment-related regulations and established policies and procedures

What You'll Bring (aka Qualifications)

  • Education: Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate degree programmajoring in Human Resources, or similar, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Able to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

$20 - $25 an hour

The hourly pay rate for this job is $20-$25 per hour. Individual pay rate is determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
