Job Description:

With a laser and primary focus on our Douglasville employees, the HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting human resources functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR principles, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for supporting and engaging employees.

This individual would report to a Sr. HR Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting recruiting efforts for the site, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection
  • Supporting employee HR questions and facilitating a highly engaged culture
  • Performing general office manager duties
  • Under the guidance of their manager, handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate smooth integration into the company, in partnership with Organizational Talent Development and business unit training professionals
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development planning.
  • Lead and facilitate cultural events in Douglasville
  • Coordinate badge setup for new hires in Douglasville, including developing streamlined processes for managers to collaborate with Physical Security to expedite badge processing for new hires at Douglasville sites.
  • Manage the onboarding experience for new hires in Douglasville, creating a blueprint and implementing best practices for onboarding
  • Develop scalable and easily replicable employee experience framework tailored to Douglasville employees, enabling remote management of employee experience initiatives for the Douglasville workforce
  • Assist in the creation of process and tracking of - manager & employee adherence to Douglasville tax incentives.
  • Assist HR Business Partner and People & Culture (P&C) team in various HR projects, offering support across all HR functions.
  • Utilize onboarding expertise, to remotely aid Hiring Managers during the onboarding process
  • Periodically travel to locations to ensure teams have necessary non-tech setup and onboarding resources identified, streamlining processes (less than 4 days per month). Implement an employee experience framework that enables remote management.
  • Collaborate with P&C team members responsible for remote management of employee experience initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 30 hours a week will be work directly related to the Douglasville, GA Data Centers, physically present at the Douglasville location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in human resources roles, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple HR functions, especially recruiting
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (preferably Workday) and other HR-related software applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace.
  • Ability for overnight travel
  • Ability to work on-site at the Data Center for 4 out of 5 days a week
  • Project tracking/management
  • Event planning coordination (on-site and potentially remote)
