High School Mathematics Teacher

Christian Brothers Academy is seeking a dynamic individual with a scholar’s passion for the subject matter as a full-time Mathematics teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

Located in beautiful Monmouth County, New Jersey, Christian Brothers Academy is a Catholic college preparatory school for young men. Deeply steeped in the LaSallian tradition and a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Christian Brothers Academy prides itself on educating the whole student. As part of that commitment, we are seeking a Mathematics teacher who can develop and implement interactive lesson plans that emphasize critical thinking and can collaborate positively with all relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a dedicated educator with an engaging, enthusiastic personality who truly enjoys working with high school students and feels confident in classroom management. 

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in secondary mathematics education, NJ state certification, and teaching experience. Familiarity with LaSallian pedagogy is a plus.  
• Familiarity with classroom technology
• Ability to contribute to our school’s diverse extracurricular programs
• Excellent communication skills with parents and students
• Ability to address students with different learning styles
• Ability to collaborate with fellow teachers
