Job Summary:

Cohen & Steers is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of ETF Capital Markets to help establish, launch and manage our presence in the ETF market. This role will provide strategic guidance to senior leadership, designing and instituting the capital markets function within the firm, and partnering with broader departments to effectively implement, launch and market our lineup of ETF products. The Head of ETF Capital Markets will be tasked to work closely with the broker dealer community to promote efficient primary and secondary market activity across our ETF lineup, as well as to educate and support internal stakeholders.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Establish, develop and manage relationships across the ETF ecosystem, including market makers and authorized participants.
• Institute partnerships and collaborate with custodians, medallion distributors and primary listing exchanges.
• Take an active role in ETF product and platform launches, establishing capital markets best practices and contributing broader industry expertise in collaboration with internal teams.
• Act as the subject matter expert for sales and distribution on ETF structures, trading and liquidity.
• Interact with financial advisors to provide execution guidance and work closely with sales and distribution to respond to client inquiries.
• Develop custom basket process and support basket execution both internally and with external partners.
• Oversee ETF trading spreads and promote efficient market activity.
• Develop and maintain ETF capital markets policies and procedures.
• Review website regularly to ensure ETF data is complete and optimal.
• Provide insight on and contribute to thought leadership on the ETF market and structure.
  
  
  

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 8 – 10 years of investment industry experience, and 3+ years of relevant ETF experience.
• Strong and extensive ETF subject matter expertise across equity and fixed income asset classes.
• Proven leadership experience in building and managing various aspects of an ETF business.
• Ability to generate and nurture strong relationship across external and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities; eager to innovate and be entrepreneurial.
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus.
