We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to be the Head of Corporate Development at our headquarters located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

The successful candidate will oversee all mergers and acquisitions, investments, and partnerships for BOLD, and various aspects of corporate strategy, business planning, and analytical initiatives.

This position is open to residents of Puerto Rico and US citizens willing to relocate to Puerto Rico.

Job Description

ABOUT THIS TEAM

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Head of Corporate Development will play a pivotal role in driving growth through M&A and fostering strategic alliances to further the company's objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive corporate development initiatives, including identifying potential opportunities for expansion or diversification
  • Lead and facilitate mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence, negotiations, and integration efforts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals
  • Lead and facilitate partnership activities, including negotiations, integration, and partner management
  • Grow and provide leadership and guidance to the corporate and business development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to support organizational objectives
  • Utilize analytical skills to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and drive growth


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Experience in banking and corporate business development
  • Experience facilitating global collaboration in remote work settings
  • Demonstrated expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and partnership development is preferred
  • Proven experience in business planning, analytical assessment, and strategic execution
  • Strong background in corporate development, with a track record of driving growth and maximizing value
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; relevant years of experience will also be considered


WHAT'S GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience within the internet consumer industry or B2C is highly desirable
  • Experience in partnership management
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred

Salary & Requirements

STARTING PAY RANGE

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Individual pay is based on location, transferable skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This estimated range is based on the best available market data and factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for a bonus and medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays, all subject to applicable plan terms.

This position is 100% remote, work from home.
