We provide comprehensive marketing services to various brands with a specialization on tribal and commercial casino resorts from coast to coast.


DESCRIPTION

As a Graphic Designer at Good Giant, you will be part of our award-winning Creative team and assist in creating a range of platforms and communication vehicles in design exploration and production: print, digital, social, on-property messaging, advertising and branding. You must thrive in a high-paced environment and develop conceptual designs at rapid pace.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working independently and under the guidance of Senior Designers, Art Directors, Associate Creative Directors and Creative Directors depending on the project
  • Ability to work as part of a creative team that collaborates on creative solutions to exceed client expectations
  • Developing and executing design projects from start to finish—conceptual through production ready files
  • Ensuring the creative work product is high-quality and aligned with creative brief/direction and timelines
  • Providing/presenting when required, rationale and support for design choices and approaches
  • Ability to iterate and evolve concepts with constructive feedback
  • Demonstrating an excellent eye for detail, consistency and accuracy in work product
  • Staying current on creative, new media, technology, and industry trends


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years related professional experience in a design or agency setting
  • A minimum of an associates (2 year) degree in advertising/communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor (4 year) degree is preferred.
  • Portfolio featuring a wide range of creative work
  • Good understanding of conceptual development and creative production processes
  • Good understanding of color theory and color relationships
  • Good understanding of composition and information hierarchy
  • Solid demonstration of typography and layout a must
  • Energetic positive and collaborative with a great work ethic
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work with quick turn-arounds
  • Challenges the status quo, champions change, influences others to change
  • Learns equally from successes and failures
  • Stable, reliable and hardworking
  • Willing to work an alternative schedule when deadlines require


TECHNINCAL SKILLS

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI digital design and development
  • Prior experience working in a project management software solution desired
