GE Power Portfolio Power Conversion Division provides Electrical power conversion systems for various Naval, Marine, Cruise Line, Offshore O&G, Metals, Power, Water, as well us upstream/downstream Oil & Gas applications. Typical scope includes the system engineering and supply of MV & LV power converters and controls, motors, transformers, E-house, switchgear, and the automation for these systems.
The Graduate Engineer Mechanical role is intended for the Fresh Graduates who are looking to build their career in the Customer site and Field Services.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Rotational orientation into the engineering/service/manufacturing organizations.
- Support the:
- Engineering team and Learn the Engineering Tools and Process.
- Develop the skills in Mechanical tools.
- Develop the skills in rotating Machine projects.
- Testing of the Motors and Generators.
- Manufacturing/repairing of equipment in a factory environment.
- Ready to travel 85% time for project/Training requirements.
- Ensure that safety is a continuous value that is promoted both personally and in Customer site and GE Facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Excellent relationship skills.
- Displays strong interpersonal skills and is accessible and approachable.
- Excellent communicator.
- Sense of ownership for assigned responsibilities
- Highly motivated and curious individual that’s not afraid to show initiative
