Geospatial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY: CRC has need for a Geospatial Analyst to support our NGA client in Arnold, Missouri

DESCRIPTION: Supports the Aeronautical Navigation Office's Vertical Obstructions program by extracting specific feature data in accordance with the data and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform data acquisition, data evaluation, data analysis, data entry, data application
• Conduct quality control/assurance and product finishing.
• Enter data using both manual and automated processes
• Analyze and validate data
• Extract features from imagery sources
• Work with large data sets, to include manipulation and formatting of data to meet specifications for database ingest
• Use previous knowledge of quality controls, quality management systems, and strategies to maintain the required level of work.
• Resolve feature discrepancies and conflicts
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph.
• An active and current government clearance is required to be considered for this work
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent within a related field and 5+ years of experience
• Basic knowledge and understanding of airfield infrastructure such as taxiways, runways, navigational aids, ATC tower, and hangers, to create AFD products.
• Working knowledge of feature collection (points, lines and areas), feature validation and finishing
• Postgre SQL/PostGIS
• Sybase
• Working knowledge of Python scripting
• Other appropriate software to analyze geospatial data
• Demonstrate knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes, and sensors
• Ability to work within, manipulate, and interact with Geospatial Database, SQL, Stored Procedures and Triggers
