EDR is seeking a detail-oriented, quality-driven candidate for a GIS Analyst based in our Syracuse, Rochester, or Albany, NY office. This position will work closely with senior-level GIS staff on tasks related to data organization, cartography (primarily report figure production), research, and analysis in support of a wide variety of developmental projects. Minimum software proficiency requirements include ESRI ArcGIS Desktop (specifically ArcMap and ArcCatalog), ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of GIS experience, exceptional data management skills, be efficient and deadline oriented, and enjoy working on diverse projects often with challenging deadlines. A working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD, Global Mapper, Adobe InDesign, and GPS systems are also desired, but not required. GISP certification or desire to become certified will be considered a benefit to this position.


The anticipated base pay range of $50,000-$60,000 per year is commensurate with experience. EDR reserves the right to pay outside of the target range based on an individual’s education, credentials, skill level and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity, geographic location, and business needs.
