Your Role

The FP&A Manager for Supply Chain will support the organization with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, expense analysis, operational reporting, ad hoc research and analysis when requested. The individual will be required to gather information necessary to provide analytical, fact-based assessments which will aid in the decision making needed to drive business results. This position provides an outstanding opportunity to understand and influence the business, learn the company systems, enhance the individuals' analytical and communication skills, and interact with executive management.


What You’ll Do

  • analyze and provide summary of trends for operational and expense metrics including small parcel, heavy freight, warehouse labor and productivity
  • cross functional relationships in order to incorporate the impact of changing customer demand / sales, inventory levels, and operational practices
  • with Accounting and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate monthly P&Ls, including the accurate recording of expense accruals
  • closely with Business Partners to identify expense savings opportunities and develop contingency plans to effectively mitigate risk
  • as a financial consultant by developing a deep understanding of business unit objectives, cost structure and key operating metrics while providing financial analysis to support key business decisions
  • credibility and partnership by providing financial intelligence, communicating in a responsive and solution-oriented manner, and challenging business units appropriately
  • accurate monthly financial forecast using historical data and qualitative assumptions based on communication with business partners from across the company
  • financial models to quantify financial impact of business strategies and initiatives, and track performance
  • multiple systems and software applications to execute tasks
  • potential business issues and develop contingency plans to effectively mitigate risk


What You’ll Bring

  • degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion and Essbase skills
  • when challenged with difficult, unstructured problems that must be solved quickly
  • years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry
  • financial modeling capabilities utilizing data from numerous sources
  • planning / organizational skills and attention to detail
  • written and verbal communication skills
  • inquisitive nature and can-do attitude
