We are searching for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join a highly successful Investment Management firm located in Boston, MA. The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of all of the data associated with the organization’s trade and position reporting to European and Australian Securities and Exchange regulatory authorities. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of financial services experience, and strong excel skills.
This is a 6-month contract role, paying between $25-$30/hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities:
Perform timely submission of daily securities trade and position files to various international regulatory authorities
Partner with internal teams to implement regulatory reporting enhancements
Ensure that the organization continues to meet its reporting requirements and maintains compliance
Communicate with brokers and reporting application vendors to promote and protect trade matching and proper transaction reporting principles and processes
Identify opportunities for improvement and support process improvement efforts
Works with within the Global Investment Support Group to troubleshoot and mitigate potential problems
Support special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, math, or related field
1-2+ years of financial services experience
Experience with regulatory reporting, securities trade flow, and various security types, including derivatives
Proficiency in Excel
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving, time management, and organization skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
