We are currently retained by a highly successful, acquisition-oriented company in their search for a bright, high-potential Financial Planning & Analysis Associate. This organization is in the alternative energy sector and is backed by a prestigious private-equity firm with over $150B in AUM. Position:

This newly created position will report directly to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury, who will provide excellent guidance and mentorship. Additionally, this person will have valuable exposure to multiple areas of the company, including mergers & acquisitions, asset management, and the executive leadership team. This person will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, management/lender reporting, M&A, and treasury. Additionally, the Associate will support the Head of FP&A in further refinement and development of a best-in-class forecasting and planning processes and techniques. Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably with a complex, high-growth company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Highly analytical with experience in critical thinking and problem-solving; asks questions and seeks input, is curious with the ability to think creatively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence, a passion for teamwork, and a rigorous drive for results in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment.
  • Proficient technical skills, including complex financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, efficient work habits and attention to detail with high standards of accuracy and precision.
  • High level of integrity and values, including compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
