Job Overview

Our Tax Finance Team is responsible for the Procure to Pay lifecycle for Tax Advisory engagements, in addition to operational planning, financial controllership, and FP&A. The Analyst will be responsible for promptly reviewing procurement requests related to the Tax Advisory engagements, and supporting Tax Managers across several layers of internal review including legal procurement, accounting independence, and third-party security reviews.

The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality and be comfortable with liaising with various business and legal teams, in addition to members of the Tax department.

The analyst provides a cross-functional bridge between colleagues in Tax who are business-facing and attorneys in our Legal Procurement who negotiate contracts with counterparties of all sizes globally, the third-party security reviews team, and the Accounting independence team.

The Analyst will also be responsible for proposing process improvement opportunities, identifying redundancies, and streamlining processes with self-driven automation, coordination with related tech teams, or driving policy updates.

Leverages technical solutions in order to scale the ever-increasing and diversifying demands of the company’s global business model.

Job Responsibilities

  • P2P tax group and review any critical issues or tickets
  • Work through the ticket queue of legal contract review requests and note any areas for process improvement
  • Consolidate metrics of different tickets that they touch handling ad hoc requests
  • Work on process improvement doc for leadership review
  • Work with team and legal to resolve tickets SIM, Approvals, DocuSign, streamlining and process improvements to leadership

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of tax, finance, legal/paralegal, or a related analytical field experience Advanced excel skills
  • Experience working in a multi-national finance or procurement, tax, or account department
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Analytic, finance, accounting-related experience
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Process improvement mindset
