Financial Analyst, FP&A

Barstool Sports seeks a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team and support the Ad Sales Business. The role will report to the Manager, FP&A Ad Sales, and help support in the creation, preparation, and presentation of yearly budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reports. This role will also play a critical role in process automation and streamlining, along with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will manage priorities and ensure deadlines are met and will be based out of our New York Office.

What You’ll Do

• Support month-end close financial reporting for Ad Sales
• Perform variance analysis of key Ad Sales metrics (revenue/margin/pricing/inventory) vs. budget, forecast and prior year
• Maintain and refresh weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reports
• Partner with the Accounting team to ensure transactions are reflected in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with production teams to facilitate cost actualization and approve invoices
• Support demand forecasting and inventory planning processes as needed
• Assist the team with ad-hoc projects
  
  

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred)
• 1 – 3 years of work experience
• Background in a finance/planning role (within media a plus)
• Fast learner with a strong work ethic
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (strong financial modeling skills a plus)
• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Deadline-oriented
• Experience with NetSuite and CRM Systems is a plus
  
  

Range: $65,000-$75,000
