Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct month-end closing activities, including accrual entries and reconciliations.
• Perform variance analysis.
• Evaluate market conditions and assess financial impacts.
• Prepare presentations for management meetings.
• Manage trading activities and ensure accurate recording.
• Perform daily reconciliations and act as a backup for specific activities.
• Summarize and analyze data for management reports.
• Offer recommendations for process enhancements.
• Review transactions for compliance with accounting principles and propose corrective measures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in financial analysis and prioritization of tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with financial software preferred.
• Strong level of attention to detail

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience: minimum of 2-3 years of experience, ideally in public accounting audit but those relevant Oil & Gas/Trading experience is also a possibility
