Job Summary
The Costa Coffee Field Sales Manager (FSM) is a dedicated brand resource within the division, anchored in a focus market, and responsible for driving consumer awareness and growth across Costa Coffee’s Ready-to-Drink (RTD) products. Through the direction of the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) and Senior Program Manager (SPM), the Field Sales Manager is a multi-channel sales leader serving as the voice and face of Costa Coffee in the local market.
Major Responsibilities
Local and Key Account Programming:
Secure New Points of Distribution (PODs) and expand existing brand facings.
Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective accounts.
Ensure adherence to all merchandising and brand standards within local and key accounts.
Identify and leverage consumer sampling opportunities for depletion acceleration.
Account Relationship Management – Off Premise/C-Store:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to each retailer.
Build and nurture strong retailer relationships to drive ROI.
Address retailer needs, concerns, and questions related to Costa Coffee RTD’s.
Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) to design and execute incentive programs.
Assist with product delivery as needed.
Actively monitor inventory levels and review brand performance regularly.
Broker/Bottler/Distributor Advocacy
Attend, participate in, and lead General Sales Meetings (GSMs) where needed.
Schedule and participate in market visits, ride withs, & spot appointments.
Establish and maintain regular communication cadences across all key stakeholders.
Administrative/Reporting:
Track sales and prepare progress reports.
Submit all required business reports in a prompt and accurate manner.
Utilize the Green House CRM tool (REPSLY) to record account calls and KPI activities in “real-time”.
Share competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of event execution and marketing or sales experience within the beverage or CPG industry (required).
Networking skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships within key accounts, customers and organizations (required).
Strong communication and presentation skills including expertise in developing PowerPoint presentations (required).
Ability to develop and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships across sales, marketing, agency and client partners (required).
Resourceful and understands how to get things done by leveraging opportunities against multiple resource (required).
Experience managing and maintaining budget(s) (preferred).
Compensation And Benefits
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 annually
Bonus Potential: 10% annually
Car Allowance: $500 monthly
Communication Allowance: $150 monthly
