Job Description

Metrics is seeking a talented and dedicated Executive Coach as we are responding to a solicitation for the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, you will work closely with executives to provide coaching and support in various areas, including project management, culture change, recruitment, and professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Culture Change Action Plan:
    • Collaborate with executives to develop a culture change action plan.
    • Implement strategies to foster a positive organizational culture and drive desired changes.
    • Provide coaching and support to leaders and teams to facilitate culture change efforts.
  • Event and Training Facilitation Support:
    • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events related to leadership development, team building, and culture change.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of training programs.
  • Weekly Recruitment Support and Summaries:
    • Assist in recruitment activities, including screening candidates, conducting interviews, and providing feedback.
    • Prepare weekly recruitment summaries for executive review, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Manpower Studies, Competency Surveys, and Gap Analyses:
    • Conduct manpower studies to assess staffing needs and resource allocation.
    • Design and administer competency surveys to identify skill gaps within the organization.
    • Analyze survey results and perform gap analyses to inform training and development initiatives.
  • Professional Development and Training:
    • Develop and deliver professional development programs for executives and employees.
    • Identify training needs based on competency assessments and performance evaluations.
    • Provide coaching and support to individuals and teams to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Support Project Management and Communication Plans:
    • Develop and manage project plans for various initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Create and maintain communication plans, providing ongoing updates to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in executive coaching and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience in leading workshops and training sessions.
  • Knowledge of competency assessment tools and techniques.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to drive organizational change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
