Environmental Sustainability Intern

The Environmental Sustainability Intern will survey the global ESG regulatory and claims landscape to create a summary of emerging topics relevant to Sol de Janeiro. This role will report into the Director, ESG. This internship is based in our New York City Headquarters. The program dates are June 4th to August 20th (12 weeks). The pay range for this position is $16/hour.

The Environmental Sustainability Intern will work on the following:

• researching and reporting on new and proposed legislation around ERP (extended producer responsibility)
• evaluating global carbon and plastic tax programs
• reviewing best practices for climate disclosure and other areas of environmental sustainability
• identifying areas of risk for current and future sustainability claims and communications

Sol de Janeiro's Internship Program requirements:

• You are a student at an accredited University or College
• You are local to the NYC area for a 12-week internship program
• You have interest in the business areas listed above with some relevant coursework, student clubs, and/or internship experience
• Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
  
  

Salary Range

$16—$16 USD
