Entry Level Event Assistant
Job Title: Entry Level Event Assistant Location: Freehold, OH
Position Overview: As an Entry Level Event Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for event management to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and exciting environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and organization of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and logistics management. Assist with on-site event setup, including arranging seating, decorations, and audiovisual equipment. Provide excellent customer service to clients and attendees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports. Assist in post-event activities such as gathering feedback, analyzing event success, and compiling event wrap-up reports. Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the overall event experience and achieve client objectives. Maintain organized event files, documents, and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Event Manager or senior team members. Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules. Enthusiasm for the event industry, with a proactive and can-do attitude. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
