RESPONSIBILITIES:
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Additionally, we can develop strategic budgetary approaches allowing for the client to marry both project goals and environmental responsibilities. We have completed projects with clients throughout Florida, as well as Colorado, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, and Ohio giving us a firm understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aerial interpretation of linear corridors to determine vegetative communities.
- Conducting field surveys to verify and assess habitats; both botanical assemblages and insect species
- Assess site conditions, ( ecological site descriptions, landform, hydrology, and soils).
- Prescribe management recommendations base on site attributes and constraints.
- Electronic data collection.
- Handheld and sub-meter accurate GPS data collection.
- Daily reporting and survey progress reporting.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- BS/BA degree in natural science field of study.
- 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with insect species and plant communities..
- Ability to work safely outdoors in variable weather conditions and on challenging terrain.
- Working knowledge of sub-meter accuracy GPS technologies and map interpretation skills (e.g., NWI, USGS, aerial photography).
- Must have a strong attention to detail in documentation of work.
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
- Desire to work in the field for extended period and maintain a positive attitude.
- Willingness and ability to travel with overnight stays possible.
- Demonstrated independent and effective problem solving and decision making skills.
- Possess a valid driver’s license
