Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a critical Data Strategy project focused on implementing and optimizing our EDW solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EDW projects, with expertise in managing the end-to-end process of moving data from source systems to the data warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the EDW project, ensuring alignment with the overall data strategy and business objectives.
Coordinate the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from source systems to the data warehouse.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to define project requirements and deliverables.
Utilize project management tools, such as Smartsheets, to track progress, monitor timelines, and manage resources effectively.
Work closely with AWS and Snowflake platforms to leverage their capabilities for the project.
Lead a cross-functional team including architects, business analysts, developers, and QA testers to ensure successful project execution.
Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience managing EDW projects, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
Proficiency in using project management tools, such as Smartsheets, to track and manage project deliverables.
Experience working with AWS and Snowflake platforms is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
