Email Marketing Intern

Position Summary:

Starting this summer, Bold Orange is seeking a curious, ambitious, bold, entrepreneurial spirit to join our growing, future focused agency. As a supporting pillar of our Marketing Automation and content management team, you can expect to collaborate with the best of the best to learn and hone skills in various marketing automation and content management platforms to drive value for our clients across their customer experience.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Learn the fundamentals of email and SMS channel best practices.
• Assist with the building, testing and deploying of campaigns, content, journey and optimization activities.
• Assist with audience and segment building.
• Learn the fundamentals of QA practices and assist the team with QA tasks.
• Execute routine maintenance and performance monitoring tasks and escalate updates where necessary.
• Research and propose new tactics for deployment across marketing automation platforms, leveraging the always-evolving landscape of new tools and best practices.
• Assist with various marketing automation and content management initiatives to further advance our capabilities.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Senior or recent grad with a bachelor’s degree
• Excitement! Ready to be an integral part of an agency full of the best of the best, without ego and wired for culture
• Attention to detail and an eye for quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A “can-do” attitude that inspires
• Desire to always be learning and growing
• HTML exposure is highly preferred
• Good understanding of CSS and JavaScript skills
• CMS expertise, such as WordPress a plus
