Opportunity Overview
As an Education Consultant within our team, you'll have the exciting opportunity to drive growth within an assigned territory by prospecting for new K-12 client opportunities. This involves cultivating relationships with parent groups, teachers, school district leaders, and other stakeholders. Key to your success will be your deep understanding of the local education landscape, including curriculum, academic standards, and test-prep options. We offer academic, test prep, and college consulting services.
We're seeking a dynamic team member with a blend of teaching and sales experience, who can develop and execute winning sales strategies. You'll need to effectively articulate stands out and how we provide solutions. This role involves travel within the assigned territory.
Requirements
Extensive teaching experience
8+ years of sales experience, preferably in the K-12 market
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
Proven ability to build and manage relationships, and close deals with school partners and clients
Established network with decision makers in local education sectors
Attendance at conferences, speaking events, and trade shows
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
Proficiency with CRM platforms and technology (e.g., Salesforce, Hootsuite)
Strong project management skills
Track record of leveraging social media for networking and relationship cultivation
Passion for staying updated on changes in education, social media, and technology
Experience in email marketing campaigns using platforms like Constant Contact, Mailchimp, and Canva
Flexibility with schedule
Extra Credit
Current educator or administrator
Teaching certificate and state credentials
Advanced degrees in education (M.S., Ph.D.)
