The E-commerce Marketing Specialist role is focused on taking approved product content and cultivating that content for our own branded website and retailer platforms (Amazon, Wal-Mart Marketplace, & eBay). This includes product names, descriptions, attributes, SEO copy, product images, enhanced content, etc. This position will work across cross-functional teams to ensure timely publishing and integrity of content. This position also requires a high level of tech savviness and flexibility to meet perpetually evolving technology, new digital marketing strategies, ongoing consumer insights, and a fast-evolving online channel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Manage all facets of E-commerce related marketing including website strategy, search engine optimization, content development strategy, email marketing, customer acquisition/retention, paid ad campaigns, etc.
Manage current catalog and set up new listings, identify opportunities to drive traffic, increase engagement, drive sales conversion, and achieve business performance metrics across websites.
Ensure execution of planned product launches, content updates, and promotions on websites and mobile applications.
Work in partnership with the marketing team and IT to continuously improve our website to develop and implement next-generation strategies.
This person is aware of digital best practices and applies them when optimizing for the best customer experience.
Be able to manage a large volume of product information with a high level of attention to detail and quality control to ensure both consistency and accuracy
Monitor product listings, conduct content integrity audits, and update/adjust as needed
Work with our SEO consultant to implement improvements to existing and new categories
Use Google Analytics to analyze website visitor behavior and turn insights into actionable suggestions
Create, manage, and monitor paid ad campaigns (Google, Amazon, and Facebook). Dissect data and take action to improve ROAS
Understanding of the competitive landscape
Keep the company current with market trends and competition
Routinely review SKU productivity
Develops and reports on metrics and optimizes experiences to drive conversion

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Related Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of previous E-Commerce, marketing, and content management experience
Strong technology skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, Google Workplace (G Suite), Klaviyo (or similar), and Helium 10 (or similar)
Basic HTML knowledge and Canva experience preferred
