About The Role

In this role you will oversee all of our recruiting and sourcing initiatives, setting the strategic direction to efficiently meet our hiring goals. You will leverage data-driven insights to optimize recruitment processes and enhance candidate engagement. Your expertise will ensure that our talent acquisition efforts not only fulfill immediate staffing needs but also align with our long-term organizational objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our company's commitment to excellence and inclusivity.

This is a hybrid role with onsite presence regularly at Flex HQ, at least 2-3 days per week.

What you’ll do:

  • Elevate recruiting and sourcing initiatives by leveraging data to reach hiring goals efficiently while providing an exceptional candidate experience
  • Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the TA function, constantly pushing for operational excellence in our team and process
  • Design, implement and maintain scalable processes, tools, metrics, systems, and trainings necessary to support the recruiting function
  • Serve as an advisor to internal stakeholders to understand departmental strategies and talent needs for now and the future
  • Manage prioritization of roles; be creative to support as much as possible, but also being comfortable making the call when roles will be delayed
  • Provide direction and training related to job description creation, interviewing best practices, and offer negotiations
  • Able to use knowledge of the broader tech space to position Flex to be the most competitive in market, helping inform the substance and communication of offers
  • Partner with broader People team and Finance to ensure appropriate compensation mix to attract and retain top talent, including consistently communicating shifts to ensure we maintain a competitive place in market
  • Develop and report on key recruiting metrics to measure team effectiveness and provide actionable insights to hiring managers and leadership
  • Develop recruiting strategies to expand our active and passive pipelines for all roles relevant to Flex; building relationships with firms and various talent pools to ensure we have a healthy pipeline regardless of current openings
  • Lead efforts for hard to fill positions, getting creative with sourcing efforts and collaborating with outside agencies as needed
  • Help develop Flex’s employer brand strategy, making recommendations for improvements in postings, career pages, networking, and more
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within our process
  • Partner with broader People team on updates to systems and onboarding to ensure a great experience as candidates transition to new hires
  • Recommend, develop, and manage partnerships with preferred vendors, consultants, and partners (e.g., investors) to support the hiring process
  • Manages a small individual req load, as needed
  • Be on-site regularly at Flex HQ, at least 3 days per week

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experience managing and leading a TA Team
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience
  • Experience in tech, fintech, or proptech preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in reporting trends, candidate sourcing analytics, and recruitment strategy efficacy
  • ATS experience, preferably as an administrator, to understand ‘back-end’ components and configuration
  • Proven record of building and implementing an effective core TA playbook (sourcing, screening, assessing, closing)
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Desire to effectively lead and inspire a high-performing team while overseeing day-to-day recruiting operations and individual req load
  • Passion and proven track record for developing strong and diverse candidate pipelines by using a multi-pronged approach to sourcing
  • Experience leveraging technology to manage workflow, improve processes, and using data/metrics to diagnose and improve team performance
  • Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of different people at all levels within the organization
  • Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Self-starter who approaches challenges with emotional intelligence and strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours based on business needs

The national pay range for this role is $190,000-$200,000 in base salary. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience aligned with Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
