Our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical client is seeking a passionate and experienced Principal Engineer to lead a team of web developers in building secure, scalable, and innovative solutions for patients and physicians. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the development of digital healthcare experiences that improve patient outcomes and accelerate breakthrough therapies.
Locations: New York, Tampa, Collegeville, Groton, or Cambridge
Compensation: $170,000 - 230,000 + bonus
What you'll do:
Lead and mentor a team of 10-25 web developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Architect and deliver complex digital healthcare solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
Partner with stakeholders across the company to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable plans.
Champion best practices in software development, advocating for innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance Pfizer's digital healthcare offerings.
Who you are:
A seasoned software engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience, with a strong focus on web development.
Possess deep technical expertise in cloud technologies like AWS, programming languages like Python, PHP, and web frameworks like Laravel and Drupal.
A natural leader with exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy tackling complex challenges.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a strong plus.
