This role requires a dynamic, organized, results-oriented leader who can inspire people and elevate our program management activities as the Director of Program Management. This role is pivotal in our success with growth, customer relationships, and financial prosperity. This multidimensional role requires someone who can lead, drive, and execute across an organization. If you have the skill and a record of accomplishment to keep cross-functional teams and departments on track, on time, and on budget, you are the right person to seize this opportunity and help us lead our company on our forward trajectory.


Roles and Responsibilities:


• Management of Program Managers and their assigned programs

• Manages application standardized PM process/methods

• Management of the Project Office incl. project controls

• Heads the team of experts for acquisition projects and new development projects in the program preparation

phase until the appointment of the PM

• Facilitating the development and implementation of a Product Evolution Process

• Development of streamlined processes for product development, and change management of all

programs in responsibility

• Manages and develops all product-related fiscal operating and capital budget

• Ensure project review meetings with appropriate colleagues and customers happen on time and with high

quality results

• Conducts customer in-plant visits and reviews to ensure open lines of communication and support

• Support Six Sigma initiatives

• Ensure customer deliverables are met, with excellent quality, on time and on budget

• Develop and approve budgets

• Hire and supervise new program managers for projects

• Report detailed status updates to leadership and executive team

• Apply change management resource management when required

• Work with leadership to set strategic goals and objectives for programs

• Resolve issues between program teams and other internal stakeholders

• Coordinate with program managers and other stakeholders to create detailed implementation plans. This

includes deadlines, milestones, processes, and risk mitigation protocols.

• Provide processes for monitoring performance and cross-functional collaboration and determine ways to improve


Required Skills:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or engineering, plus 10+ years of industry experience and five years in management or project leadership

• A PgMP/PMI certification would be excellent additions

• Industry experience in automotive, aerospace, and electrification would support success in this role

• Technical skills and project management experience required

• Experience in implementing and operating in the agile project management framework

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience in implementation and application of Jira as Project Management tool

• Customer relations experience

• Ability and willingness to travel

• Ability to operate a vehicle and a valid driver's license

• Spanish would be helpful

• Automotive APQP and PPAP process experience (IATF and VDA) would be helpful
