Position Summary: Director of Product Management

The Director of Product Management plays a crucial role in overseeing the development, marketing, and product lifecycle management of the Loftware product suite. You will lead a product team to identify market opportunity, develop business cases, define requirements, and collaborate closely with software development, marketing, sales, customer success and customers to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives that align with business goals.

In this role you will develop product launch plans including packaging, pricing and promotions that prepare internal resources to sell, service and support products and work with marketing to drive product positioning, go to market strategy and programs that make products successful in the market. Through regular interactions with customers, you will bring their voice into the product requirements to ensure the teams are delivering high value solutions that solve real world challenges.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Expand and grow exceptional product management team by hiring, onboarding, coaching and enabling them with product management discipline and best practices in an Agile environment
• Lead a team of product managers through planning and execution of strategic product initiatives and ensure achievement with overall business goals
• Become the Go-To leader for assigned product line by clearly communicating product vision and strategy to stakeholders
• Create product roadmaps, prioritize the work and manage product releases
• Drive innovation and new product development initiatives from conception through execution
• Take ownership of assigned product development and product management projects / initiatives, being self-sufficient in their successful delivery to stakeholder expectations or targets.
• Perform market research and analysis in target industry sectors, to identify market opportunities, trends and drivers.
• Develop and gain agreement for product strategies and product positioning which will address these market opportunities effectively.
• Identify and prioritize the specific market and customer requirements for the resulting new products or product enhancements.
• Prioritize requirements for inclusion in each product release, and to gain stakeholder agreement and investment approval on release contents and timescales.
• Utilize the product life cycle process to deliver and launch products and services to market, on time and budget, to support the agreed product strategies and roadmap.
• Manage products in life to ensure their ongoing success in terms of market share, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
• Enable the sales and marketing teams to be effective by being a market and product authority /subject matter expert, and aid in the creation of appropriate product documentation, sales tools and collateral. Remain up to date on market trends, regulatory changes and competitive alternatives, and to adjust product strategies and roadmaps accordingly.
• Be a subject matter expert on the functionality, features and design of the software products within Loftware’s portfolio.
• Be a strong customer advocate and participate in client focus groups, customer events and ongoing client facing meetings
• Where applicable, manage relationships 3rd party technology partners and suppliers.
• Manage the end-of-life activities for products as required.
• At least 8 years of product management experience with SaaS products
• Experience of being responsible for bringing new B2B software products to market by following an Agile product development process
• Strong understanding of business financials and product pricing and packaging
• Strong analytical, strategic, and organizational skills
• 5 or more years of leadership experience in a global organization
