Job Title: Director of Operations

This pivotal role will oversee the operational aspects of our practice, with a primary focus on finance, growth strategies, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and fostering growth in a healthcare setting. As the Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in shaping the future success and sustainability of our practice.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:
  • Develop and oversee the annual budget, working closely with the executive team to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage billing processes, revenue cycle management, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement initiatives.
  1. Growth Strategies:
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic growth plans that align with the practice's mission and vision.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor activity, and patient demographics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead initiatives to expand service offerings, enhance patient experience, and increase market share.
  • Establish partnerships and strategic alliances to support business development efforts.
  1. HR Operations:
  • Oversee all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering professional development and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  1. Operational Excellence:
  • Streamline operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor operational performance.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the practice.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including physicians, clinical staff, and administrative team members.
  • Serve as a liaison between the executive team and departmental leaders, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Represent the practice in external forums, community events, and professional organizations to enhance the practice's reputation and visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare operations management, with a focus on finance, growth strategies, and HR operations.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance, implementing growth initiatives, and optimizing operational efficiency in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMPE, FACMPE) are a plus.
