Director of Operations - Dairy Manufacturing

Position Overview: The Director of Operations is responsible for leading the operations of a Dairy food manufacturing plant. This position requires the ability to successfully manage production, inventory, warehouse, and customer service functions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the daily operations of the plant, including production, inventory, warehouse, and customer service functions.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare and manage operating budgets.
• Monitor production and sales goals and report results to upper management.
• Ensure all employees are compliant with safety and health regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Operations, Food Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the food manufacturing or related industry.
• Previous experience as a Plant Director or Director of Operations.
• Strong understanding of Six Sigma principles and methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
